Air Passenger Duty hike from Monday

I am sure that there is going to be a big impact because of these high duties. 55% rise in air taxes means so much. Some trips can get unaffordable. Somehow the first class people will be able to afford, but what about the rest of them? 55% increase is so much!
Frankly what I thought was holiday firms would not increase the air duties and charges. But we will have to wait and see how the public responds. Because 55% increase is too much!

The 55% increase refers to long haul and does not apply to flights to Turkey, these fall into the under 2000 mile category that is only going up £1
