half way through

well here i am 5 days into a 10 day (2nd visit) to kalkan
its as good as last year of course
 
staying at A2 meditranee apartments near samiria garden hotel (right next door)
(the lounge had loud music second night until 1.30am which was very un kalkan like and hugely annoying)
 
had 4 meals out and a brief description of them
 
1) baharat restaurant
wife had mussakka and me sea bass which was awful, (never ever had a bad meal in kalkan until now) i asked for filleted which i do not normally do and what a mistake! it was hacked to death and "piled" back on the plate and still had loads of bones in it, wouldn't return here i'm afraid, service poor too!
 
2 nar (1st time)
fantastic servie and food, couldn't fault it
 
3) ramis (3rd time)
one of my favs and he is still doing it right, aain fantastic servie and food and cheap compared to some others
 
4) ozalp (1st time)
a real find and our first time, wife had steak and me mussakka, both excellent, very highly rated for service and cost very attentive service
 
off to mussaka tonight to try the steak!!
 
yali bar is normal evening hideout on a sofa people watching (and sport of course) on the way there now for a cold efees and climax to the ryder cup come on europe !!!
 
one funy end to this halfway story, was sitting on the balcony yesterday reading my book and my chair collapsed (one of those plastic things) wife found it highly amusing!!

Hope you have a great meal tonight, seasick!  I can vouch for the Surf 'n' Turf in Mussakka and OH loves the Summer Steak in a balsamic dressing - with Pine Nuts!  Delicious, especially sat at Table 31 to people watch!
 
Must have been a very funny moment with the chair - hope you didn't dammage yourself!!

Glad your having a good time...perhaps if chairs are collapsing underneath you give the steak and Efes a miss and have a salad?
