  Hi to everyone on this site just returned from our 2nd trip to kalkan and booked again for next year.

We have fallen in love with the place, people, food and laid back way of life.

Just a few of our favourites, the best resturants are the Alternatif, the Sofra and for a slice of home made cake and an ice coffee to die for  visit the Cafe del Mar.

best boat trip is the Yildiz 2 with Osmen and his lovely family, the food and swiming stops are amazing. 

Hope to go exploring next year as going for 3 weeks so if anyone has any new places to visit please let me know...

Hi Pigin13 - thanks for the tips and enthusiasm - our second trip soon and cant wait - 5 weeks -1day ...have already booked Osmen for October (no, not all of it!) .

Lucky you, 3 weeks next time ... keep that in focus through the winter!

Click on excursions on the Enjoykalkan homepage - it lists Adda's best excursions. Also check out Abi Travel. Have now done 20 or so different day or half day excursions, so plenty to choose from.

Hi Pigin, welcome to the forum, we went to Kalkan for the first time in June and also fell in love with it!!
Have to agree with you on Cafe del Mar, love the iced coffes and home made cakes!! We also had a fab day out with Osman on Yildiz. We're off back to Calis beach in Oct then we'll be counting the months down for next June to get back to Kalkan!!
