this was our first trip to  kalkan and we both really enjoyed it.we stayed at the samira hotel in town and had a fab time the location was spot on and the service brilliant.i can recommend the bospherous restaurant above the hotel the food was fantastic and we both got strangely addicted to hot chocolate puddings.got out n about a bit 2 boat trips on yilditz 2 captain osman and his wife were brilliant 2 fantastic days chill-in out topping up the tans.went to kas on the bus for market day and to visit the amphitheatre which unfortunately was being renovated so was a bit of a building site big disappointment.jumped on the bus to patara beach and had a really good day messing about in the rough sea also visited the amphitheatre here that was also being renovated but i thought it was really impressive.did the jeep safari to saklikent not really my cup of tea but had a really busy day topped off with tubing down the river and also did the boat trip to the sunken city great boat trip but not sure about the sunken city ha ha.booked these 2 trips with club lycia who did us a bit of a deal for sterling and were excellent.ate out at quite a few places never had a bad meal my favourite was one of the cheapest extinct next to oz adana loved the chicken pide .anyway to sum up we both loved the resort had a fantastic time and met so many nice people the only negative was the long winding transfers from the airport.we will be back again someday.

I'm out of breath just reading your whirlwind of a report, Gazman! You certainly got about a bit and crammed loads into your holiday.
We're booked on the Yilditz - glad you had such a great time - hope your holiday memories last - yu can visit here for a fix!
I cant wait, not long now ...

Well done, gazman!  Thanks for the report!  We waited 25 years to cope with that transfer, and now we have done it, found it worth the trip!  Glad you had a great time.

hi you two had a bit of fun getting home 10hr delay lol.Thomas cook looked after us  couldn't fault them.put us up in nice hotel at gocek threw in a breakfast and in-flight meals top service .it was quite round the bar the last couple of nights when everyone had gone home :'(.really nice to meet you both enjoyed our chats round the pool n bar look after yourselves gaz
