I think there are tow main contenders, Atlantis and La Sera.
There have been good reviews about both, but this year the posts are mainly about Atlantis ...
Atlantis is near the Teskom shop in town, La Sera is up on the Kalamar road on the opposite side to Cafe Vita. (Good Chips).

La Sera has a web site - the link is there in the thread above... cant find a website for Atlantis though ...

There are others, in some of the hotels, such as the Regency. I haven't seen any reviews on here about those.

Prices seem to be about the same - basic Turkish bath / rub down / olive oil soaping approx 40TL; and for the full bath, massage and so on, 90TL.

My top tip? Go on your first day, it's so cleansing, and your tan will last (almost) forever!

Take your pick and let us know what you think! Enjoy ...

If you want to go on your first day it may be worth booking, but we called in on our second day and booked for later that day.

We went on our first day and could not go straight in - booked for an hour later.

Seasick, try typing "turkish bath" into the search facility and it will bring up all the threads about the different Turkish Baths available in Kalkan - someone was also recommending the Pirat recently, I think. There's plenty of information there to make your choice.
We used Atlantis for the first time this year, didn't need an appointment as we were there earlier in the season and it was very good - its based in the Yali Han complex, just behind the Yali supermarket (the entrance is opposite The Swan) - not sure if you were getting your supermarkets confused, Lorilou   or if there's another one by Teskom?

And, being a bit random when it comes to directions -  quite possibly why I'm going to try the Hammam at La Sera on my first day, as it's at the end of my road! The worst thing that can happen is I'll end up in Cafe Vita ...

By the way, a good DIY version is to do the "mud bath" on one of the boat trips. Once the mud has dried go into the sea and use the fine shingle to remove it - I never cease to be amazed by how soft my skin feels afterwards..

Hmm, Kalkan4eva ... get scrubbed up and oiled to within and inch of my life, fall out of Hammam, into Cafe, frighten staff & fellow customers (because of the state of self - All pink and shiny - and why does Hammam make hair so hideous?), anyway, order chips, skewers and an Effes.  Great start to my holiday. Ooh, Mud Bathing ... is there a bar local to that too???

the hair?...its the humidity . I don't need the Hamman for that problem   I'm seriously considering a bathing cap for next year - its so Mad Men
A word of warning...the Efes will not help with your sense of direction

By the way, BL the mud isn't stinky at all - but your skin does resemble an elephants as the mud dries so there is an element of unattractiveness about it. The mud at Pamukkale is VERY stinky - never done Dalyan to compare and given your description, I doubt I will

Andy and I duly turned up at the Atlantis TB on our first evening and booked for first thing the next morning.
I was a little dubious whether Andy would like it, being as he says...Girlie nonsense!
I shouldn't have been...he loved it, raved about the massage after too (not too keen on the face pack, though i thought he looked lovely both during and afterwards) After suffering from a stiff shoulder for years, he said the masseur twigged the problem as soon as he reached the area, took out some deep heat type of lotion and concentrated for quite a while on the shoulder. Andy said he was most impressed and had an ache free holiday (and continuing)
I do agree that the Atlantis seems the most authentic type of hammam in Kalkan (after having a look at some of the others)
and strangely enough we found the TB to be the 'coolest' place in Kalkan during the day!!
wish i could go back for another, the scent of the rose soap and the feel of those ultra soft bubbles...bliss!!

Really pleased you enjoyed your TB experience - and that you have come back to share it here!

My husband was also pretty dubious (to say the least) prior to our first visit last year, but raved about the massage and clean feeling afterward. Mind you, not sure what would have happened if they had attempted a face mask ...

Hope you have time to share some of your other adventures ... you did loads of research before you went, and I'm guessing that you have some good tales to tell!
I for one am looking forward to them ...
