Old town webcam
« on: September 02, 2010, 10:30:09 PM »
We seem to have gone from a lovely clear picture of the old town, looking towards the harbour, to viewing a rather large plant!!  Is this a picture of the Magic Beanstalk that can whisk you off to Kalkan at the click of your fingers (or heels if your more into wizards?? )
Please do tell   !!xx

Could someone please solve an argument I'm having with my wife as to the location of this webcam. I thought it was looking towards Coast she thinks it's next to Alternative?

Hi

Can anyone tell me the name of the Restaurant that the Old Town Webcam @ coast looks towards. It is a roof top Restaurant on the left side looking down towards the Harbour. There is also another on the right hand side which looks like a very small roof top Restaurant. Me & my girlfriend often look at them both quite full and as we are going to Kalkan in a couple of weeks thought we might give them a visit if any good, so all comments & reviews welcome!

Thanks
Mayday1

Have eaten in Kalamaki but it was a couple of years ago. From memory was good but haven't gone back. Not tried the other one but sure if you try typing the names into the search facility you'll find info from people who have. Enjoy whatever one you decide on or of course both :)

Maya  is a lovely restaurant - Sevilay cooks wonderful authentic home-cooked Turkish dishes.  She packs the flavour in.  We went twice during our holiday (just back today, so now v depressed  :'( )  Menu is quite limited, but everything is just delicious!

Had a superb meal in Kalamaki last Wednesday evening - prior to that if you saw two demented people waving at the webcam - that was us! Also kissed Gordon Ramsey at Kalamaki! - ( alas only pressed my lips to his message written in the visitors book!!)   :D :D :D
