Hi lovehols
Pretty much whatever you need to know can be found within these pages. And if not, someone comes along and tels you, or, suggests where to find the info you need.
There are some great threads about all the things you ask about. Start by putting 'beach' in the search facility at the top - you'll be surprised at all the info you'll find.
It s a great area for a fabulous holiday, if you like beaches & beach clubs, nice bars, great restaurants and cafe's, a brilliant market and best of all lovely people, you wont go far wrong.
There are a number of hotels that meet your wish list - best search the forum, and have a look at the Kalkan Turkish Local News website which has ads, info and a good map which will give you a good idea of locations. kalkan.turkishlocalnews.com. Or find a hotel you like the look of and search the forum for that, or ask a specific question here.
Enjoy!

Patara Beach, easily reached by Dolmus, is a must. Wonderful sand, need flip-flops, can get quite hot under foot.
Safe bathing for all the family, plus an excellent Beach Cafe, very reasonable prices. Showers and Toilets all to Hand. Enjoy.

Hi lovehols,

Here is the copy of an earlier posting from Jo.  There is also the Hotel Sevgi, which is not expensive and if you google it, you will be directed to booking.com to check the rates and availabity. We go back in October and are staying in the Samira Garden, which we booked direct with them.

Jo said:

""The following are links to some of the centrally located hotels in   Kalkan, all available to book directly. We also always rent villas, so   can't comment on what the hotels are like. However we have had a look at   the Asiyan and it looks very pretty, gets great reviews on Trip Advisor   and is in a good position, just behind Kartin Supermarket. I'm sure   others on the forum will be along to provide their reccomendations

Come back on if you are struggling!
