Am returning to Kalkan for the 2nd time on 5th Sept cant wait.  We came in June last year and had a wonderful time, have never returned to the same place twice so this say's something for Kalkan.  Really helpful to read all the posts on the forum and keep up to date with what's what, almost makes me feel a local!

Just for the record am from Cambridgeshire although originally from Essex.

Oh Annie's got the Kalkan bug. We say every year that we are going somewhere else and in the last three years since the kids have flown the nest we have tried Kefalonia and Kyrenia but again we go back to Kalkan. We've made so many good Turkish friends since going there it's like home from home and you can't put a price on that. Flying out eight in the morning and can't wait. Cheers Annie

Hi, we arrive on the 9th september, we are staying in Kalama at our Doughter,s place, it will be our 7th time, We love it, it will be the first time We will be on our own,so looking forward to relaxing, swimming, Kalama beach club, walking into town, eating, cafe vita, looking in the lovely shops, Kas, going on a day trip, boat trip, Patara beach to see the ruins

Done it all before, so what, just can,t wait to do it all again, LOVLEY KALKAN, hear we come.

got back from our 6th visit at 3am this morning!
my husband started the holiday saying 'this is the last time'
and by the end when waiters etc said 'see you next year' he said 'possibly'
when I laughed he said 'well it would be nice for the odd week out of season'!
bitten by the bug....what bug!!
