buying football shirts
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:58:26 PM »
We are visiting Kalkan in a few weeks time.  My 9 year old son wants to buy the new Man United shirt.  Does anybody know if it would be possible to buy a "genuine fake" from either the market or any of the shops in Kalkan?

as you go into the market the footy shirt man is on the left near the start......they are quick at copying things but i don't know if they will have it yet?  it will be a popular one so i imagine they would want it as quick as poss ;)

the football shirts aren't brilliant quality, but they're cheap and will probably be the thing your 9 year old wears most on holiday. My BH was looking for the nice pink EFC away shirt when we were there in June, to no avail.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

The market sells football shirts. market day is thursday.  also a shop in the village does.  its on the right hand side if you were coming from the village entrance and is quite close to Merekez resturant.

ps. your son has great football taste :)
