Saklikent in October

Is the gorge open for visitors in October? Im sure when we were in Kalkan last October the tour companies were offering day trips and yet some websites say its not open at that time for visitors? If it is open and we decide to drive there ourselves, do we have to do the whole soaking wet thing?!! Or is it worth visiting anyway seeing what we can (one of our party is not too well and wouldnt cope with sliding about on rocks) and maybe having lunch at Yakapark afterwards?

Yaka Park don't carry on until the end of October. I think last year they closed about a week before the end.
