VILLA BEATRICE

This will be our first time in Kalkan and we have booked two weeks in August at Villa Beatrice which used to be part of the Kalkantepe complex owned by Tapestry Holidays. Has anyone been to this villa or any other on the complex? Any reviews positive or negative would be much appreciated.

we stayed at Kalkan Tepe the first year it opened....about 6 or so years ago.....obviously at the time they were owned by one person who ran them as a sort of boutique hotel. the villas were lovely with the most amazing views, at the time they were the highest villas in kalkan.....been a lot of building since then. you will need to car or taxi to get to town.....hope you have a great holiday

We also stayed at Kalkantepe about 4 years ago, but don't remember the individual villa names. probably changed anyway by now. Now it has been sold by previous owner (Cem and father) I don't have any info on how it is run. It is very high up which gived amazing views, but as Babs said, it is a taxi ride up and down each time unless you are hiring a car.

Thanks for the replies. The villa details says there is a dolmus which runs to and from Kalan several times a day and can be picked up just outside the villas so fingers crossed that this is correct or we'll have to factor extra spending money for all the taxi fares!!
