Hot!! Our roof terrace max/min thermometer has been registering highs of 36C in the shade by day and minimum night temperatures of around 20C.

Can anyone tell us what the weather is like now? We fly out at the weekend. Weather reports are showing mixed -rain and sun but it looks colder than it is here ..

Rainy, cloudy and chilly today so far but forecast I saw were sunny and 20-22C for the next day or five.

Today was decent but the weather has been pretty bad so far this April. yesterday rain all day and only 11 degrees. As has already been said the forecast for the next 2 weeks is poor, never known an April like this, making up for the fantastic November we had last year. Bit much when we read about the weather in the UK - when I spoke to my daughter in the UK this morning she was laughing.

The weather on the KTLN site looks really quite good. Certainly some rain to come but plenty of sunshine and warm days. I wouldn't be worrying if I was coming out this week and there seem to be far more places now in Kalkan where you can eat indoors if it rains.

I know wall to wall sunshine is what we hope for but it can add to the interest of the holiday if storm clouds gather, the rain comes down in torrents, then out comes the sun, everything dries up so quickly. Yes, I have been out there when the water flows down the roads in an amazing way. There are some photos on the gallery showing storm clouds - but fortunately many more with that wonderful sunshine.

So Legionaire I hope you enjoy your Kalkan visit whatever the weather. I look forward to my next visit very shortly - have to confess I am hoping for a lot of that sunshine!
