Is this site secure?

I have had problems with trojans recently, I don't know where they have come from but with so many contributors can we be sure the site is secure?

i have no problems and am on here several times a day,everyday throughout the year and have been since it started

To protect your computer always install SiteAdvisor from http://www.siteadvisor.com/ This rates all websites as Red for danger, Grey for caution or Green for tested and passed

Thanks Jon, I have McAfee site advisor and anti virus software, but nasty stuff has managed to sneak under the radar, I have been looking at EK since its inception. I've only recently had problem with trojans, managed to get rid (I think/hope) and now changed anti virus cover.

Next door neighbour had problem with this stuff..it was found to be from circulated E mails of comedy type which many of us recieve...needless to say i am careful what i open now as is my neighbour

I have always used avast which is free to download and highly recommended.

I never open unsolicited emails or even circulated joke emails from people I know, they are an obvious way for deviants to pass on their evil nasties. I now have  avast having had AVG for quite a while, the problem with any anti virus etc. software is that it becomes a challenge to the evil geeks to beat them.
