As soon as i saw pics of Kalkan, i had to book! Looks my kind of place, would be hugely disappointed to end up somewhere with a karaoke bar every other building! lol! I can't wait now!!

Hi there, We had our first trip to Turkey a few years ago and found Turunc first, it was wonderful, we had a great time. However, we think Kalkan is even better, just like someone else who's responded to another of your posts, we too decided to buy an apartment! Brace yourself for falling in love! (but keep your credit cards in your bag or you might find yourself putting down a deposit!) One other thing, on this forum you'll read lots about the new road and roadworks etc. Whilst it is far from ideal, there will still be less disruption in Kalkan than most areas you could visit someone else so just enjoy!

Thank you, everyone is so friendly and helpful!
We fly out on the 29th september, arriving early hours of the morning (hopefully, read some interesting reviews of Onur Air!!!)
We are only there for the week, it's our wedding anniversary next week and so it's kind of celebrating i suppose.
I couldn't do any longer, my girls are 18 and 19, don't come with us any more, both in uni. After three nights start missing them terribly, (sad i know!)
Really looking forward to it though.........Anyone else out there then? (apart from Kev, my tour guide!) lol!
