Need to reconfirm with Aegean flights/H4U

If you have a flight booked this weekend with Aegean or H4u you have to ring them to confirm that you still want to fly. Flights from last Friday that they have been showing as 'delayed' are now considered cancelled an you have to rebook.

I've just done it and they say our flight will be going at the scheduled time. Won't believe it until we are in the air.

Has anyone heard from fly Thomas Cook?  Should be flying out on Friday so keeping everything crossed

Having reconfirmed with aegean this morning and told our Saga 9.25 flight is on we have just received new tickets for a jet2 flight at 10.30. When I rang check they said something about the original plane not having been cleared for flying so they have managed to change to jet2. I'm at the stage where I would fly in an old prop plane leaving at any time if it would get us there.

Jet 2 ? Oh no we haven't been informed of that - are you flying from manchester as that is the same time as our flight?

We fianlly got Jet2 tickets emailed to us for tomorrow now also at 10.30am- but we had to chase them up ! Don't think they would have informed us otherwise so thanks KR for mentioning it. The only thing that is bothering us now is that, that flight number is not listed on the Manchester Airport departures for tommorrow just 2 Thomas Cook flights   
Anyone else been having problems ??

As it was a last minute change yesterday morning perhaps it isn't showing yet. If you see me (with my husband and a 90yr old who walks with 2 sticks or may be using a wheelchair due to the size of Manchester) please come and say hello. It says on the eticket that the jet2 flight goes out of terminal one not terminal 2.

Not sure if you are aware but jet 2 goes from the groundfloor check in of terminal one. Might save you wandering round the airport especially with a wheelchair

Thanks Bevjam that's helpful. It's the first time he has used a wheelchair as he usually just plods along but if the gate is at the far end or if he has to stand for any length of time he is getting tired now. I hope I will still be going to Kalkan and enjoying life when I'm 90.

Yes that's what I'm hoping KR. We've been having panic attacks today with everything so much in air ! We phoned Manchester airport and they said they don't display all the flights so that's reassured us a bit. If we see you we will definitely say hello..Kalkan here we come !

Yes me to, we're taking my mum in law 90 and mum 85 in May. They love it. I've also gone for a wheel chair option at the airports. Hope you get away without any delays
