Has anyone else received a new invoice from Aegean flights for a booking they have already paid in full for?

I have just got home from a weekend break, to find a new invoice for a booking I made last year when flights were first released for 2010. Because I booked early, I was able to get the 15kg luggage allowance thrown in for free. The booking is for my return leg to Gatwick from Dalaman and is for 4 of us. Aegean now seem to be demanding a further £37 each plus £6 for a hold bag each.

Obviously, I shall be ringing them first thing to find out what is going on but, I was wondering if anyone else had had this happen and already contacted them?

Hi yes I too received an invoice yesterday and it states hold luggage is not included in the price and I can book 15kg per person for £6 per person each way.  However when I look further down the invoice it states that I have an allowance of 15kgs per person x 4  and the cost one way is on the invoice at £24.  Also the new balance owing on the recent invoice is £0 so I don't think we have anything extra to pay.

EARLY BOOKING BAGGAGE
For 2010 Aegean flights will be charging for hold baggage. However as an added benefit for booking early you will have 15kg of hold baggage included at no extra charge if you book before 1st July.

HOLD BAGGAGE
Checked-in baggage is NOT included in your flight cost. You can add 15Kg of checked-in hold baggage for just 6GBP per person each way.

I note in the conditions that I do have the right to cancel the ticket if the price goes up by more than 10%. And from the site that they want £122 per person for the flight alone, as stated on this new invoice. So probably a problem in their office. I hope so anyway.

Grumpygrampy my invoices are laid out similar to yours however the most recent one ends up with the same balance as the first one, with nothing owing as they give a Discount:  Price Adjust.  I'm sure it's an admin error on their part.  Let us know how you get on.

Phew! Yes, Aegean managed to cock it up themselves. Seems that someone was updating the free luggage allowance discounts and forgot to do the job properly. Result = 4 worried customers and 1 wasted phone call + wasted time on hold while girl sorted.
Think next year may change to different carrier.

Have always found them to be most helpful & polite at their office on any enquiries.
 
Have also received updated version of our invoice for our next visit, no problems,  so perhaps it was a one off clerical error.  Because of the new charges (luggage charges)  perhaps for legal reasons they are having to update all the customers.
