Hi
Does anyone know if the jewellers in Kalkan sell silver or glass Pandora style bracelet beads?

Hi Em,

Yardan started doing silver beads to fit pandora bracelets in late summer this year at very very reasoable prices. He also sells the bracelets.

regards

Jo

Just Silver definitely have the "pandora" bracelets and charms/beads. Someone we met in Kalkan in October bought one + charms and there wasn't a huge difference in the price of the real thing back in UK, as I recall.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Be careful! - daughter bought a charm in October and the silver is already rubbing off! Safer at your local UK jeweller.

Like BL, we've bought plenty of silver from Hallit but we don't go for brand copies. All the jewellery is very good quality and a fraction of what you would pay in European countries for similar weight and design - I wouldn't hesitate to buy there again. That said, I prefer to buy the original Tiffany's, Links of London and Pandora silver because there isn't a huge difference in the price and you have their guarantee should anything go wrong. I had a charm fitted to a bracelet by Tiffany's which somehow came off and I lost it, however they replaced it free of charge....was hoping to get a trip to New York out of it but Tiffany's in Bond St were happy to pick up on Fifth Avenue's mistake  ;D ;D
Alfaman, where did your daughter by her charm?
