Strange question, I know, but how much (in Turkish lire) is a bottle of whisky in Kalkan? And are most brands available?

You are better off buying it at Dalaman ..you can get duty free as you come in to turkey(by baggage reclaim) and as you leave ;)

Whiskey is very expensive in Kalkan as I think it's all imported. We looked a few years ago for a small bottle, just to make our own irish coffees, and the price put us off....and there didn't appear to be a turkish equivalent in the supermarkets we looked in :(
BL is right, we bought it on our way out last year - at Manchester though, because a litre was only £10 when it was bought with a litre of Bombay (also £10). Not even Asda can beat that ;D
