Hi, I'm Gabi.
Been viewing this site for several months and find it really friendly, helpful and amusing, so thought I must become a member.
Having fallen in love with Kalkan over 15 years ago and holidayed a dozen or more times since, have decided to come next April for 12 months.  Ill health over the last 5 years has put my life on hold to a certain degree so now I need to relax and recoup. I've travelled and backpacked all over the world but am always drawn back to Kalkan. Unfortunately, another 15 years to go before retirement will only allow me to come on a budget for 12 months.
I'm coming on 21 Dec for 3 weeks to view several apartments for rental. If anyone knows anyone who has a 2 bed apartment with pool for rental please let me know.
Anyway, if anyone is around when I'm over Xmas/New Year it would be great to hook up for further info on living in Kalkan, and enjoy a beer or three for Xmas cheer!.

Hi Bobibag.....welcome aboard.Wish i could go to kalkers for 12 months!!or better still for ever ...but hey i shall make do with my visits till maybe opportunitys arise....you will find it quiet on here this time of year but it tends to pick up in the new year..hope your quest for somewhere to stay is found and more importantly you get fighting fit

12 months in beautiful Kalkan will surely do your health no end of good. 
Here's hoping you find a good place to stay and you can recharge your batteries and find peace and happiness.
