I tipped Lucie to win and she was booted out. Last year I tipped Laura White and she went home at around the same time, so now, NOW, I'm saying Jedward to win!!! Let's see what happens

There is a plan for everyone to make sure Jedward wins the competition main reason being it will totally mess up Cowells plans. He will have to award them a recording deal which will be pointless as no one will buy their music so Cowell has a major problem...I think this is great if it works...

I think Jamie Afro might go in a backlash against Simon's contestants. Apparently there'll be a (carefully scripted and worked out by a PR company) "explanation" why he didn't choose to send Jedward packing. It'll be like a party political broadcast on behalf of the Cowell party....cue, faux humility and possibly faux apology

Another truly awful display from the dreadful twins - their voices are completely drowned out by the backing singers and their stage shows are bigger than anyone elses to disguise the fact THEY CAN'T SING!

To be fair, Jamie has been poor for a couple of weeks, his time was up....granted Jedward should have not gone on the plane to Lake Como, let alone been in the final twelve after they cheated at Bootcamp.
My addiction is too strong not to watch...so well done BL for going cold turkey

So, it was Wham/George Michael night and if there's ANY justice at all, the twins from Hell will go, and Joe will win. He was pitch perfect tonight and seems to have all the add ons (looks etc) that the voters like.
He's got my vote anyway!

I was reading whilst it was on tonight but only looked up when Stacey and Joe sang.
Joe was really good, Stacey good the rest..........flat, boring and Jedward painful!!!!!

at least Dani remembered it's a singing competion- well done that woman! Expect to see Jedward on Ceebeebies in the near future as I think that's their future - they absolutely murdered Westlife in the sing-off

Have to say I'm not enamoured by Joe..think Danyl has more X factor, but Olly is still the favourite in our house.
Probably time for lloyd to go next week - but the Jedward voters may switch to him

Well as we approach this weekend's final, wondering who we all think might win now?
Gutted Danyl went last week, but I think out of the four, he's the most likely to make it if he didn't win the final. Joe is sooooh boring and only sings ballads (although he has a lovely voice) and IMO far too diddy to be a pop star. My girls love Olly, so that's who we'll rooting for.

Mind you, my daughter and her fiance are backing Ollie, as are all their friends. If he wins I'll be just as happy.
Only thing is, it's our work Christmas "do" on Saturday night and we're staying overnight at Crewe Hall for a dinner and entertainment (which won't include X Factor!)
I'll have to watch it on ITV catch up when I get home, so I'm up to speed before the Sunday night result show.
Thank God for the catch up thingy. I missed Gavin and Tracy tonight, so will get it tomorrow. Isn't science wonderful!?

we were out too, so skyplussed it...in fact everything is getting skyplussed at the minute and I can't get round to watching anything I've recorded.
Didn't really want Joe to win, but he does have the better voice - felt the song was more suited to him than Ollie. I don't think he'll be a major pop star though - reminds me of Leon Jackson who won in 2007....who?
