Can anyone tell me if there is any sort of rule limiting the number of pergolas on roof terraces?  I ask because friends have told us that the villa right in front of us has now added to their collection, blocking more of our view.

We were told this year by the Beledye that if a roof terrace has been created by removing the roof, nothing may be added that is higher than the original roof height.  Not sure about properties that are built with an existing roof terrace though.  The Beledye are quite helpful if you go along there,
