Not totally Kalkan related, but this subject has been raised on other Forums I participate in and resulted in some funny anecdotes.

We read their posts, see the Forum names and then build up an image, but (being a nosy so and so) begin to wonder how the names come into existence?

?

So I will kick off

Mine (fitwenchdidyell) is an actual anagram of my real first and surnames. It was discovered many years ago on a very boring workday by putting the staff list through an anagram program. I was considered to be a bit of a fitness freak so this one just seemed soooooooo right.

Fast forward a few years........ I trained up and now run my own fitness business so it just has to be.

this topic has been discussed before - although it was sometime ago. It would be good to know the origins of some of the newer forum members names, but you may find many of the regular posters won't post on this thread - just wanted to let you know in case you thought we were all ignoring you

Last year we were thinking of going to Dubai and we had just bought a new house (down-sized to have loadsa holidays!). Anne was researching Dubai on Trip Advisor and had to register. So she quickly thought.....we are buying a house from Antler Homes and we are looking at Dubai. And so it became AntlerDubai and we haven't worked out how to change it on TA!

On EK we have managed to drop the Dubai bit & so we live with just the Antler.

Don't buy in Dubai the backside has fallen out the market and a lot of people have lost the farm....thank God the commercial side is still holding up...
