Take away/delivery service.

does anyone know of a good kebab take away/delivery service in Kalkan,that is open about midnight,we arrive 11.30-12.00 pm and will probably need something to eat without going out to find somewhere that is still serving food,if all else fails there is always the soup kitchen.

The chicken man(next to Bulent the butcher) will be open..i'm pretty certain i saw delivery service advertised..maybe someone can confirm this and perhaps give you the number?

Just on a related note, I have been made aware of a Indian takeaway service that has been operating in Kalkan. Cooked to order by a qualified Indian chef!!
If anyone is interested in a different cuisine, I will attempt to get full details.

Thanks my blue friend,I have thought about the chicken man,very tasty,but in may he had nearly always sold out late on,but I will keep my eye out when we arrive as its not to far from our apt.
I have heard the Cati also does take away so I will have a look at this one as well,its only "yards" from the apt,any reports on the Cati welcome.

In june we got chickens at 1 in the morning......very yummie after quaffing Efes

We use Cati for takeaways but not ususally that late so can't comment if they are open at that time...
Usually fine for a takeaway, we get quite a mixture of stuff (you get heaps of bread n salad)
Also Freds (Oz Adana) and Fotos Pizza now do takeaway deliverys too..but again not sure till what time..

Oz Adana was open quite late when we were there in June as we got a load of village bread to take back with us as we had a plethora of dips in the fridge we fancied tucking into...don't ask  think it was after midnight, but can't be sure as I lose track of time in Kalkan. The Fast Food Cafe is great for takeaways & they deliver. You could phone ahead and try and time the delivery for your arrival...the Soup kitchen is a pretty good alternative. We arrive at a similar time in October so let me know how you get on, Neil

Will do K4E,back again in oct myself so it will be useful to find some places,one of my Turkish freinds orders me kebabs ect sometime but never asked him where he gets them,I will ask him a week on saturday.

Friends of ours had a meal delivered and waiting for them on their from Kalkan Concierge, they said it was absolutely delicious. Though you do need to be in self catering accommodation for this option.
