Just got back would like to tell all about a place called THE LOUNGE
you can get a LARGE efes for 2.50 Tl and if you were feeling hungry............
Wait for it............. A Burger with homemade chips AND a Large efes for.................. 7.50Tl That about (Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£3.00) cheaper and much better than weatherspoons and they had music sang by a nice man, i wish we found it earlier.

Went to the Lounge for a quiz night, which was great fun, but the service in the Lounge was atrocious. Everyone at our table had finished their food and mine had still not arrived. We reminded the waiter 3 times and even went inside and asked and eventually at least an hour later, it arrived. When it arrived, it was definitely not worth waiting for.

Great for the quiz, but rubbish for food.

Spent an evening in The Lounge at the end of our holiday when we visited in June, had good food and reasonable drinks. There was a lovely Turkish bloke singing, don't have a clue how to spell his name. Towards the end of the evening when there were only about ten of us left the singer and the others still there invited us to join them as we were on our own. We were from all parts of the world, England, Turkey, Sweden and us being from Wales, it was a fantastic atmosphere, a typical Kalkan experience. After finding out we were from Wales [allegedly the land of song] they coaxed my Hubby to sing something Welsh, so not too reluctantly aided by a few Efes he gave them a rendition of an old favourite "Myfanwy". He's got quite a good voice [don't tell him though] so it wasn't too embarassing! Needless to say we were all loathe to home to bed we'd had such a good evening. Will be definitely be spending another few evenings there when we go back next month.

We were also at the Lounge for the quiz and we too had terrible service, 2 drinks out of 4 wrong, only 3 main courses brought for 4 of us, two of which were wrong. The owner did say thet new staff were arriving later that week so perhaps things have improved.

Yes you beat us this time but beware we have won in the past. The lack of drinks and food affected our form.

There is a fabulous Turkish group performing at the Lounge Bar this week. I was there last night and the atmosphere was great as was the food and service so I think they must have resolved any problems they had been having. We found it so much more enjoyable than going to a typical Kalkan bar.

It will be great if they have sorted out their service problems as it is in a good location if you don't want to walk down into the town.

Hiya K4E,lounge is the new one near Samira garden isnt it ?
As far as I know it has nothing to do with Pasha bar,Yusuf has not mentioned anything about it,if it has something to do with Pasha apts,I dont know,I havent met Mark and Imelda, yet.

Hi Neil,
we were in the process of arranging to meet some friends there in October, but I'm confused as to its location. I thought I saw a bar called Lounge on Kalamar Road and it looked as though it was part of to Pasha Apartments - we were out for a walk one morning so I can't blame alcohol for my confusion

I will have a wander and see what I can find out,I will be paying a visit to pasha apts sometime next week,but as far as I know the lounge bar is near Samira gardens,across the back of the car park. maybe someone on the forum can help?

The lounge bar has no connection to any other establishment. If you walk approx 25 metres from the roundabout where Bar B Q is located, along the Kalamar Road, take the first turning on the left (NEED Company is on the corner). The Lounge bar is 10 metres along this road.
