Following on from the lively 'noisy bars' debate under the heading of 'full moon party', if anyone is bothered by noise or loud music they can ring the Zabita 0535 732 6185,
 These are the belidiye guys you see in light blue uniform, they have their own specific uniform and squad car.
 
They will call on the said source of noise and decide whether they are breaching any rules, if they are they will issue them with a warning and if the problem persists will issue them with a hefty fine followed by another even heftier fine if the noise persists further. etc.
 there should be someone on duty 24hours a day
 Of course there is the other option of ringing the jandarma
 All outside music should cease at 12.30am anyway and be taken indoors until 4.00am.
 Overly loud music is not accepted in residential areas and if it's too loud b4 12.30am complain anyway

That's great information Kim. I imagine you need to be able to speak Turkish so probably need a Turkish speaker to make the call as the bit we've got probably isn't up to a phone conversation as we always seem to need a lot of hand movement to be understoood.
