Apartment Kiziltas
« on: July 16, 2009, 11:59:10 AM »
Thinking of booking an apartment in Kiziltas, been offered a good deal. Never stayed in that part of Kalkan before, understand the apartment is just opposite the petrol station. Will be hiring a car but like to walk as much as possible. I know it's uphill all the way from the town to the garage just wondering if anyone's stayed up there and roughly how long it takes to stroll to the shops etc or would we really need a taxi to go out as well as back. We'd probably book one back in the evening especially after a few Efes but would like to be able to walk back and forth during the day. Any feedback would be great before we decide to book. Cheers! ???

Hi Clara,
Our place is above the Kas Road and we love it up there.  There is a fab breeze of an evening, and the view is amazing.
Its no problem at all walking in - 10 minutes for us to the Yali supermarket and another 5 into town but if we've not gone in the car, we usually get a taxi back as our part above the Samira Deluxe is not only steep, but rough underfoot - but it does depend where exactly the apartment is in relation to the petrol station - do you have the name of the road it is on?
Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.
