Going to kalkan next week for the very first time. Can''t wait. Heard so many good reports. The only thing I''m not looking forward to is the 2hr transfer. Is it really as bad as I''m expecting ??

The transfer is fine, 2hrs will pass very quickly, and the view as you come over into Kalkan will more than make up for it. Are you travelling by coach or private transfer?

Coach usually stops for a comfort break at a garage on the way ,smokers smoke, widdlers widdle,and beerers beer!!

If you stop at the petrol station with the swimming pool, you can have a dip!

I still haven''t had the swim by the way, but last week it was 4am when we stopped and a bit nippy for my southern thin bloodied body. well that''s my excuse.
