Football on TV?

My husband, a great footie fan, has just realised there are two England games taking place while we are in Kalkan at the beginning of June. He wants to know if any of the bars or hotel would be showing them, does anyone know if this is likely please?

No problems! I''ll be out there at the same time. Try Utopia, Moonlight Bar, bar with No Name, to name a few ... All large screens, English commentary via Sky Sports, BBC, ITV etc.

i am sure that BBQ (formerly Breeze) opposite Kaya on the roundabout will also be showing it on their screen..have no fear - your husband will get to see the matches..!!

Off the subject a little - is BBQ owned by the same people as the former Breeze? I take it, by the name change, they specialise in BBQs?

Hi Popps - as I understand it - it is run by some of the same people - although they have got rid of the horribly pushy meeter greeter who used to put me off ever going in as Breeze..!!  There is a lovely english lady in there called .... (OMG - mental block - alzheimers moment - her name escapes me!!)  and a really lovely bunch of people who run it and the prices are very very good.

They have an indoor fire - not really a bbq as such - but you can sometimes smell smoky (well in the winter anyway when the sides are down) - well worth a visit - they have a lovely bar area too by the large screen TV.
