Cancelled Christmas day.

The FidiMax family has cancelled Christmas day this year,as My lad is in afghanistan,we will be having Christmas day on 17 jan when he is due back home.
Are there any more members with family serving overseas at Christmas ?

No family serving overseas but OH is ex military. Roll on 17th Jan, Neil & tell your lad that we are all very proud of him & his comrades.

Thanks Sally,I spoke to him on xmas day,he had just had his xmas dinner and was in good spirit,but he cant wait to get home to see his family,girl friend,mates and the dogs.  :)

Yes,my youngest Son is in Iraq until March ,so Turkey and trimmings on hold.Happy New Year to you all.

Having watched Christmas on the frontline on BBC you can''t fail to have only admiration for the young men and women who are serving out there. No matter what your opinions are as to if we should even be out there this shows why our armed forces are regarded as the most professional in the world.
Finally to anyone with loved ones serving in a war zone I hope they all soon return home safely.

 :-* Thanks Neil ,and to you all for your kind words.This time last year we were waiting for Kieran to come home from Afghanistan . Every Soldier has a Mum and Dad waiting with Wives and Children.Neil I hope your Son returns safe and well with all of his colleagues.
