Hi, me and my husband are visiting Kalkan for the first time at the end of December.  We are both excited and really looking forward to it!  We will be staying at the ''Mediterranean Villa'' on Zeytinkaya Cad.  Does anyone know it?

There are three villas on this small development, we stayed in the first one called Villa Zeytinkaya two years ago. Its was very nice with truly spectacular views and not too bad for walking into town, other than the obligatory climb coming back up on the return. The villas are very easy to find, just follow the Kas road and they are on the left above the old Town, there is a paved slip road up to them. The villas are well seperated, so you should enjoy a reasonable degree of privacy. The Villa you are staying in is only a year old, so everything should work.
As you are going in December, check that there is some form of heating either heatpump via the air con or independent electric heaters. It can get cold and you are going to be in quite an exposed location.

If you havent yet arranged a transfer from the aiport or car hire they can help and also private trips to various sites or excursions etc...I am sure there are lots of others that are also excellent I just dont have their details or know if they are open in the winter!
Kalkan and Patara are both lovely in the winter...warm sunny days but chilly at night!
New year is big here too..lots of restaurants open etc.

How do we get the discount on the car hire?  Do we just mention EK when we get a quote or do we have to go through the website or something?
