England win
« on: September 07, 2008, 07:40:38 AM »
Congratulations to England for their 2-0 win in their first world cup qualifier yesterday
I watched the match in a very crowded No Name bar, there was a great atmosphere
and great to here the cheers as the goals went in.

My OH watched the match and whilst he''s pleased with the result he thought England need to do better if they are going to win the world cup this year

Seeing John Terry apoligising before the match for past ''performances'', I just could not be bothered to watch.
Sound like I made the right choice.
Spent the 90 minutes watching paint dry, which was far more entertaining!!!!!

they are poor..they don''t look any better under Capello than they did under McLaren!! he has taken over but kept the same old faces >:(.(saying that it''s disgusting that no highlights were shown on telly....only on Setanta)
People Of Britain.. When your missus asks "Does my bum look big in this? Never say "Dunno your blocking the light."... just sayin ????

Since Euro 2008, I take Mrs Eniste''s side and follow Turkey.  Wednesday will involve the old club v country debate, with two Spurs players playing for Croatia.  I just have no interest in England at the moment, particularly with a captain that any pub team would be ashamed of.
