Kas & beaches?
« on: August 26, 2008, 01:23:42 PM »
As I said elsewhere I fully intend to spend some time exploring Kas when I''m out in September. I''ve read about the beach clubs - see here - & I wondered if anyone had been to any of them. Also any thoughts about accomodation in Kas - I wouldn''t want to stay on the peninsula as I don''t particularly want to have  a hire car.

PS I know there is an Enjoy Kas website but the forum is not very well attended.

Hi Sally,
I like the beach clubs at Kas and I like the town, it makes a nice break from Kalkan, you can take a day trip to Meis from there as well 10am-3pm every day.

It is for the new marina and landscaping.........which will make Kas very attractive for boat owners and maybe take their business away from Kalkan
Having said that just look at Kalkan at the moment - its like building the M25 up by the petrol station!!

The Kas  is really wonderful place and I like it very much. It has a natural beauty. I think there will be very few people who don't like that place. The beach is awesome. I love spending time over their. It happens some time that we get some bad experience but the place is really too beautiful.

Try Big Pebble beach in Kas- nice cafe/restaurants and waiters that will bring drinks to your sunbed!
