Well it didn''t do my head in. Leonard Cohen last week at the 02 was absolutely magificent. The magic will stay with me for a long time

You mean you''ve never heard Cleo Lane singing "she was beautiful" accompanied on guitar by John Williams?
(must remmember to ask the Sofra guitarist to play it next visit!)

I saw Cleo back in the early 60s. she played Titania in Peter Brooks version of midsummer Nights Dream. I was at school and about 16 on a school trip to the RSC. The whole performance of the actors and the stage set has stayed with me always.

I had to look it up on itunes just to remind myself;  practically anything by Paper Lace.  Billy Dont Be a Hero etc etc.
