Thanks everyone for helpful info.

We are going to Kalkan for a week in August and cancelled our transfer with tour operator so are looking to either hire a car for the whole week or arrange private transfer.

But.................if you want to use Abbi I would recommend them. We use them every time for our transfers and car hire and you will find Osman and Linda very accomodating and good value too.

We use Abi Travel for all our transfers and hire cars... Linda and Osman are extremely helpful and very efficient. Oh, and their cars are always clean, and the drivers are very polite too!

We use Abi. Our first experience of them was good, so we never saw the need to change. I think the prices are pretty much the same wherever you go, £25 per day (inc insurance) for a Fiat 4 door with air-con and CD player (handy for the long journeys) which drops to £23 per day if you have the car for 7 days or more. They deliver to your accomodation - as I''m sure the others do. You could arrange a private transfer with them and have you car ready for you when you arrive in Kalkan, rather than making the long trip from Dalaman yourself.

Linda is very helpful, and I like to put our loose change in the collection boxes for the street animals as I haven''t seen any others elsewhere - despite an extensive shop trawl....I can start a new thread, Jon, before you tell me off

Abbi Travel do excellent transfers, and through experience using other company''s we feel a lot safer with Abbi, the driver drives at a steady speed, not like one company I could mention which we used last year, I was a nervous wreck by the time I got to Dalaman airport.

The driver was driving like a maniac, going that fast he ran over a dog, and did not stop, then he started to text someone while driving at speed however we did not crash I do not know, luck must just have been on our side that day!!!!

We have always used Abbi Travel, we have had to on a couple of occasions had to rush back to the Uk unexpected, Osman has had a driver at our door within 15 minutes now thats what I call service! They have never let us down.

Me too. They have an excellent service and have used them for many years. Last year they organised a tailor made trip for just the two of us to Berzigan and the surrounding area. Trip lasted all day and was truly wonderful. The driver was so knowledgeable and took us to a few village houses, organised a "tea stop" and took us to a lovely restaurant in the mountains for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Can''t recommend them highly enough.

I live and work here in Kalkan and I put all my customers/guests onto Abi Travel. Their cars are highly maintained and their drivers the best. Discounts usually available depending on how long cars are hired for, the prices for transfers are the same across the board, the service isn''t.

The Abi Travel drivers are the only ones I trust to get me to Dalaman safely. Over the years we have used many transfer companies. With other companies we have had drivers falling asleep at the wheel, failing to turn up at all, using the phone whilst driving at high speed, the list is endless. There has never been a single problem with Abi and we recommend them to everyone.

Linda and Osman are not only reliable and helpful but very professional and unlike some of the other transfer / hire car companie, keep their cars in excellent condition mechanically - they are all regularly serviced, and carry full insurance which is important if there was ever an accident.
Here as everywhere else, you do get what you pay for.

Like Lantana we too only use Abi Travel. We have been using them for the last six years and they have never let us down once. We also reccommend them to guests staying at our apartment and always receive glowing feedback about how courteous the drivers are.
