Just back from first visit to Kalkan...did we like it - no!

Hi Rachey,

A fabulous first-timer''s report, you seem to feel exactly the same as we did after our first trip to Kalkan last September.  We too stayed at the Emir in apartment Melissa and were so impressed that we have just returned from our second visit.  In fact we must just have missed you as we arrived in the early hours of Tuesday 10th.  I think the owners of the Bellamina were there after you - lovely couple.

I''m sure you will go back and enjoy it just as much second time around, we are already contemplating our third trip!

We''ve done it!  Booked our return to Kalkan for another 2 glorious weeks this September!  Counting down the days to seeing that amazing view...first sip of Efes, first meal at Coast etc.  We''ve never returned to the same place before...wonder if any of the lovely folk we met will remember us...

Going to try new restaurants - Alternatif sounds/looks nice...oh so many choices 

Diet begins again  to make room for all that lovely Turkish food... Yay!
