Not sure of name of trout farm but just a short drive out of Kalkan. The temperature is cool on the warm summer evenings with a lovely view over the valley.I''m sure someone will help me out with the name of restaurant.Forget about the calories and give the fried goats cheese a try after all we are on holiday.Been out of Kalkan you will find it to be excellent value for money  ;D.

there''s the one on the way to Mahmuts on the right as you go up the hill. I tend to prefer that one. Nicer and more comfortable chairs. Foods pretty much the same at both I''ll admit  i.e.  pretty good actually! lol

Hi
Go right to the top where the village centre is - i.e the second mosque and the flour mill and about 20 yards further up the road is the Pinarbaci - the highest one in Islamlar
Wonderful starters - koy ekmek - village cheese fried in chillies - everything there, including the salads, fish etc comes from within 20 metres of the restaurant - apart from the bottles of coke which I think come from further afield  :D
Seriously it''s very Turkish and excellent value and you won''t find a tour bus within miles of it - wonderful terrace and we can see our house in Kalamar from it

Yelkenite- I think you mean Bodamya Tepe- has little streams and a beautiful garden and offers a more varied menu.
As for all the others - there are several and they all offer a similar menu- we all have our favourites. If you have only been to the original with a group it is worth trying one of the smaller more rustic ones.

Only know the one trout farm restaurant which you turn right at the small market at the top of Kalkan.Travel for approx 4 mile going up hill around the many bends and it''s on your right side with parking to the front.Going in May will take note of name and directions.

HEATH try carrying on up the little slip road beyond that one (as I think you are referring to Mahmut''''''''s) for the more rustic ones, or further along the main road towards the village. In fact if you continure along that road you can do a loop back to Kalkan, passing the rock tombs and Bezigan along the way.
