What is the best way to spend a day in Kalkan?

It''s just under 5 weeks till we''re back in Kalkan (33 sleeps to be precise  ) and we are contemplating how we will spend our first day. Just wondering from the forum members...If you only had 24hrs in Kalkan - how would you spend it? Apologies if this subject has been covered before and for those forum members that are lucky enough to live in Kalkan imagine it was the last 24 hrs you would spend there - what would you do?

Kalamar & swim, swim, swim in that amazing sea.

(Or take a trip to Kekova & swim, swim , swim in that amazing sea).

Duty free g ''n'' t on the balcony (and maybe a fag on Joan''s )

Would wander down town with a drink at Kleo, eat at Korsan Marina, & finish off with an ajibadem(sp?) at the Mergez.

I would just stop on our balcony and take a lot of time to soak in the views - the sunshine - feel the warmth of the people - enjoy a swim off the pebble beach, a raki and a meal at the IBO (not forgetting to use their toilet!!  ).

I think - in that order - it would float my boat...!!

For us its when we hire one of the "Romantantik" boats fpr a day bay hopping swimming off the boat in the cyrstal clear Med. Heading back to port to get ready for yet another wonderful meal in town...then back to the villa for a cooling late night swim....

FIRST DAY: Arriving very very early hours of the morning, a quick sleep, a bleary eyed, smiley late breakfast/brunch.

Then off to Palm Beach club for the day. Swimming, watching the world go by, taking in the spectacular views and catching some rays.

Lively discussion about which of our favourite restaurants to visit first. Then a great meal followed by a nite cap in Merkez.

And with the lovely knowledge that we have it all to do again for the next 13 days............wonderful!!
