Middle name on visa ...
« on: August 07, 2018, 11:23:34 PM »
Hi all

My friend and her husband are joining us in Kalkan for the first time in September and have just applied for their e-visas.  She's panicking a bit as she forgot to include her middle name on her visa application and has asked me if she'll be ok.  I always include my middle name so I'm not sure what to advise her, so thought I'd ask on here.

Have any other forum members omitted their middle name from their visa? If so, have you encountered any problems at Dalaman?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

My husband did the same thing earlier this year.......he is a worryguts but I told him it would be OK.....
When we got through at Dalaman I had my 'told you so' look on my face , he then confessed that he had paid for another visa with his full name on😂

I know that doesn't  answer your question but my husband said paying the additional £20 was money well spent for his piece of mind.

I then alarmed him by saying there could be issues with 2 visas for the same passport holder........a worrier is always a worrier!

My understanding is the visa and passport names should be the same. Perhaps she could check with her airline?
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)
