Amazon Alexa In Kalkan

I am curious to know whether the Amazon Alexa products work in Kalkan without the use of a VPN router linked to a UK server.
I have searched to web and come up with conflicting answers.
If anyone has experience of using an Alexa product in Kalkan I would be grateful if you could let me know if it works with or without a VPN.
I have several applications for which I could use an Alexa and want to bring a unit out with me on my next visit however if it will not work there seems little point.

Hi Caradog,

 we have a Firestick without a VPN and its fine for Netflix, Radio streaming, and other apps like SKY, BBC News,Youtube etc but its not live TV.

 With the demise of the free Filmon service last year i need to look into other services - its a while since i have researched this but there are probably new streams available.

Mike, you should be able to use tv player on fire stick but may well need a vpn in Turkey. Ip vanish works well.

It worked well with a VPN for us. We tried it out of curiousity. It's not really that necessary to have Alexa there tbh.

I used my Firestick last October, although I do have naughty application on it and was able to stream quite successfully. Even managed to watch Pompey beat Gillingham on it, something I never saw last Saturday.

Alexa works fine no issues.
it just needs to be set up, Internet network and location.
Fire stick also works but ther are geographical restrictions. If you want to be able to watch all UK Prime Programmes you will need to use a VPN but not all work. The same goes for Netflix.
