For me the reality show about Easyjet in Liverpool with such unmitigated unhelpfulness, unprofessionalism & unfriendliness (they are the polite words to describe staff) made me never want to use Easyjet.  But in those days I did more routine package holidays.  When I went on one that needed an independent flight with fixed pick-up & drop off Easyjet was the only suitably timed flight.

I have to say there are no major gripes with the service but I get the rage with all the tussling to get early booking as the page shows increased price every time you press continue.  Especially now release dates are an open secret !  But the lack of customer service when you do need it is appalling & as someone has said they treat us as SLC (self loading cargo) but also in my view Cash Cows.  Why can't they sell something at a price with clear details of what you're buying without extra everything.  Seats, check-in for heavens sake *angry*

 Loucy Lue we have now given up on the Easy Jet scramble to get cheap flights as hubby is now semi retired and now more flexible. we have still had some amazing deals though "the nightmare from hell" flight that was diverted to Liverpool cost us only £18 each though the price should have no reflection on the service we recieved.

We are in kalkan now and paid £42 each for our flight with Monarch one way and £110 each to get home next week. we were tempted to get home early (due to the heat) we could have flown on Tuesday for £29.99 each with Thompson. the price had nothing to do with the coup as it had been advertised at that price for the three previous weeks.

sometimes its worth hanging on and to check the prices if you are in a position to do so. swings and roundabouts  . p.s forgot to say that while we were grounded at Liverpool airport for over 8 hours we were not offered any food or drink vouchers !
