Turkish Bath
« on: July 03, 2016, 07:39:14 PM »
Hi guys
We arrive next Saturday and after visiting Turkey for 8 years, I have promised myself my first Turkish bath! Can anybody please recommend anywhere please? We are not far from the Yali supermarket on market road so don't really want to venture too far from there.  Thanks in advance.

I can recommend Atlantis . Why not treat yourself to a massage while you are there. They are really expert and find"knots" you didn't even know you had!

That's fab - I have seen that one, but didn't want to go there in case it wasn't good! I may well treat myself to a massage too - sounds lovely.
How much is a Turkish bath out of interest.
Thanks for your help. Can't wait. 5 more sleeps to go..........  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can also recommend the Pirat down by the harbour.  The full bath with scrub & soap plus a massage with oils to re-moisturize your fresh new skin is £30.  They quite liked sterling this year previously lira.  Takes 1 & 1/2 to 2 hrs.  Very good value.  Esma is a lady who does ladies I assume man on the desk does any men.  You'll be horrified at the shed load of dead skin that comes off.  I had a repeat 7 days after my first & expected very little (after the first removed my winters worth) and was still quite a lot.

Leave all British prudity at the door - you get naked for the massage, though covered discreetly by the pestemal towel !

I've stayed at Pirat before so know about that one, but I couldn't be bothered with the walk back up the hill after, but good information re price etc.

Can't wait.

Thank you all.
