October half term

Kalkanites

A colleague was asking about whether Oct half term - usually the last week of October would still be warm? Any comments greatly received x

We left on 21 October last year after 10 lovely sunny days, other years we've been a few days earlier in Kalkan and had a couple of days loud/rain, still lovely and warm though. Never been as late as half term but I imagine someone will be along to help very soon!

We have been many times at the end of October, once even up to 5 November - the weather is generally warm & settled, sometimes a little chilly at night, pashmina recommended!

Thats what I thought..what about sea temps?

The sea temperature was reasonable, but I did feel the pool was 'cool' - but then I like a warm pool!

Last October was good, but November was very wet with heavy rain. Temps ere reasonably good though. Pools are obviously much cooler unless heated, the sea was quite refreshing.

With the weather changing around the globe, would say don't take anything for granted. & come with just a light covering for evenings maybe a shower proof.

Now the year before that it was spring like ..........

you take a chance with October,,,we've been a few times and have had different weather on each occasion. I've always found the sea temperatures really warm at that time of year - well compared with early season, anyway.
I like the relaxed feel of the place, the end of term sort of vibe but a lot of places do close before October is out - particularly if they've had a long season and it has been good for them.

I really like weather in Kalkan. I like to have a rest in Kalkan. Because here you really can enjoy time when you are swimming or playing games on the beach
