Selfish people

6th visit to kalkan and feeling fed up. Villa guests next to us have music blaring out so loud it's impossible to savour the quiet delights of the stars and moon let alone get any sleep. Really don't understand how people cannot know that others do not want to listen to their music at 11pm. Sorry for the rant, want to wire happy holiday story not this

Annie please go to see them tomorrow & explain it's a problem for you, they may not realise how much sound carries. If they don't take any notice look up the name of the villa on google and who owns it then email or message them, all be it may through their rental site. They may be able to speak to their management agency who can visit and stop it.

Good idea, thanks I will do that if the same happens tonight. 2am the music stopped! Today's a new day and have had a lovely day chillin by the pool after a taxing walk with my 84 year old mother (kalkan virgin!) up and down some steep hills, mum is looking good on it and doing amazingly well, must be something about the magic of kalkan that rejuvenated the mind and body. Off to house cafe this evening for a mojito or two

Sadly annie this is a problem that some residents suffer during the holiday season, as you say Selfish People, bet they don't do it in their own homes, or do they?

Talking of selfish people - was hanging out at the Yali Beach Club - near the Likya Residence and Spa  last week.

There was this woman from Lincolnshire with her husband & another couple. Could'nt stop chatting with a loud voice - really some people forget that there are other people around and have no consideration at all.

Hope your selfish music neighbours problem is sorted.

Kalkan does'nt need noise pollution whether its from a speaker or a big loud holidaymakers gob!
