Water Bills

We have a place up in Akbel but as yet we still have not had a meter reading or water bill from ASAT, the new water company.  We're becoming increasingly concerned as we haven't had a bill now for 7 months and our property was let for most of the summer.  We are wondering if it's a local problem or if it's the same situation in any other areas of Kalkan?

Hi Tomcat,
You can now access your water bill online at - asat.gov.tr
You will need to enter your Abone number which is your Water Meter Number prefixed with the Kalkan code of 4150. You should enter this as a nine digit number and then press "Borc Sorgula". You can pay this either online or at the PTT.  Interestingly we could not pay outstanding bills for last year and the early part of this year at the PTT as they were only able to access recent bills for some reason!! but they said the girl in the lottery booth at bottom of steps could do it - and she did. Anyway hope this helps.

Hi Tyros,

Thanks for your help..  We have previously tried as suggested but our ASAT online account is showing as nil, so effectively no reading and no bill showing.  This makes us assume ASAT have not yet read our meter.  Maybe they are still reading meters and haven't reached the properties up at Akbel yet?
