September temperatures

Arriving on 24th Sept for  a few weeks ( yeeeeee haaaaaaa)  , looking at KTLN ,temperatures expected to be in mid 30's  for several days,  seems hotter than normal for this time of year , having only visited in Sept 3 times and experiencing temperatures  in the mid/late 20's,  I was wondering what the average was for Sept?
