Best exchange rate in Kalkan

We are coming out again in 3 weeks. could anyone tell me the best exchange rate in the resort. Best I can get in here is
TL 3.37

Daily rated are posted over on ktln.  Its showing 3.51 for today.

Hi Hodstar,

The rate of 3.51 represents what is available at PTT.However,you would get 3.51 after the commission that they charge is deducted......PTT headline rate is initially higher,but they do then charge commission,which takes it down to 3.51 tl to £ 1

You can go to any of the banks (we use Deniz or Ziratt ) and they will give you (at todays rate ) around 3.58 to 3.59......commission free.You do not need a bank account to change currency but always have your passport with you.

If you go to exchange places in the heart of town (commission free ),the rate is not as high as the banks but will be slightly better than what you end up with at the PTT

..............So the moral is...Avoid the PTT to change money...go to the banks for the highest rate,and if this is too inconvenient...go to Lucky supermarket or Yardin Jewellery in town and get a mid rate.
