Just returned after another great trip to Kalkan, apart from the thunder storm one night that is.
Nice to see the familiar, friendly faces of the locals, who always greet you with a smile and make you feel so welcome.
We stayed at the Dream hotel which is so relaxed and easy going, so much so that we booked it again for September while we
were there.
I liked what they have done with the roads but were still working on them up the side streets. The new street lighting down towards the Moonlight will also be a nice addition when complete.
The usual haunts for lunch, Hunkar, Rose, Akin and Fener were as good as ever and evening meals at Sade (fab fillet stake on risotto), Kosk, Chillies and Baharat didn't disappoint either. Tried the Olive Garden for the first time which was superb and also Agora which nice but not as good as the others.
The only blot on the holiday though was the sad news that Omar from Berzigan is not too well and is having treatment for what Adem tried to explain as Lung cancer. Our thoughts go with him.
Counting the days down already until our return in September.
