Overnight trip to. Meis/Kastellorizo
« on: June 02, 2014, 02:40:29 PM »
Been saying for the past 20 years we must visit Meis and have still never got around to it. This year might be the year! Thinking of staying overnight, possibly 2 nights. Can anyone advise a) how much the boat from Kas costs this year - is it just the one company operating? b) whether we just turn up on the day or can we pre book? c) if pre booking is needed, could this be booked via any of the agencies in Kalkan? We will probably have a hire car so won't necessarily need the road transfer Kalkan-Kas.
Thanks in advance!

I read on KTLN that this year there was going to be a Sea Bella hydrofoil operating from Kalkan harbour offering fast trips to various destinations, including Meis.

We read that too Christina, and spoke to someone on Sea Bella at the Harbour at Easter and he was unsure, although limited English, we got the impression that it may go via Kas first, but not sure whether this is true or not.  Would be fab if there is a fast cat direct to Meis wouldn't it?

Hi ,

Only way to get to meis is to take a ferry from kas or hire a private boat from Kas.

You can use meis express or Kahramanlar ferry lines

If you send me a PM I can arrange you 20 percent discount which is a special for Ek members  from CaptainErgun.

There are several options to stay in Meis just us booking.com
