Pirat Hotel
« on: May 16, 2013, 04:27:14 PM »
Hi all, has anyone stayed at the Pirat this year yet as I have just noticed the Sandal restaurant has turned the downstairs into a late night bar with dancing and wondered if it is going to be noisy etc for people staying at the Pirat (hope not as we have 6 weeks booked there this year  :o

Also seen this Chrissy on KTLN, we are at the Pirat in Sep so will await reports to see how the noise affects the hotel. Hope it doesn't cause too much noise as the Pirat has such a good location.
Nicky

Hi Nicky, we are there in 4 weeks so will soon know, I can't imagine it will because they will get so many complaints so we will see, I will let you know unless we hear from anyone on here beforehand, have a great time anyway. Chris.

Sandals was always a bar with music and dancing until about 4 seasons ago when it converted to a restaurant only. I don't think it ever caused a problem to residents of Pirat during the time it was a bar so hopefully it won't now that it's a bar again. Don't forget there are strict rules in place regarding loud music after a certain hour which the Belidye were quite hot on last year... Hopefully it will be the same this season :)
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Thanks K4E yeah I appreciate that but Chocolate Bar don't seem to come under that jurisdiction from what a lot of people said at the Pirat last year, not us as we were in Pirat 2 which was not affected, but anyway panic over as I have heard from someone who is staying there as we speak and it doesn't seem to be impacting on the noise levels so far so happy days but again thank you for the heads up.
