7 more sleeps and  puppy P is going on a holiday of her own. A luxurious, doggy hotel, complete with sofas, rugs, music, and an acre of fenced in field to play in, joined by other doggies whose owners have escaped for a while. Not sure whose looking forward to their holiday the most.

AAwwww! How cute is puppy p!!Is she/he a wire haired terrier? That's the worst bit for us is when we have to take Ruby to the kennels the day before we go. We know she is very well looked after where she goes but she still makes us feel guilty when we put her in her kennel!!

Babs, just gone back a page and have seen your facebook photo of your very handsome spaniel! Hope he is doing ok, I can understand what you must be going through. Our Weimaraner is nearly 10 now and we can see her getting older although she can still motor when she sees a rabbit or a squirrel!!

"Swimming" went very well today.....but still no,idea if in 3 weeks,time we will be on our way!

  BL. What a giggle    Sadly I suffer from dry nose syndrome but, and  shhhh ...keep this quiet, I have been know to take a Pee in the park 

HolmfirthNicky. She's an Airedale Terrier. 10 months old and is a right little handful but gorgeous with it. She has had 2 trial runs to the boarder. The first time she screamed when we left  and I felt awful. The second time, she was there with another pup of the same age, a schnauzer/poodle and fell head over heels in love. She cried when we took her home  However, I am still not looking forward to leaving her for a week, and I know I'll fret on the way home.

Bee she will be fine.....we have always left our dog in kennels and more recently at home boarding and he always went in with his tail wagging and came out with his tail wagging! As much as I love him I have always been able to more or less forget about him while we've been away but I know what you mean about fretting when you goto pick them up! To be honest I think they have a ball and you deserve a holiday.....enjoy!

Any update on your doggie situation Babs?

If I get told I'm being boring about him K4E I'll know who to blame!  he did really well at swimming on Saturday, slept all day and has been behaving like he's been fed blue smarties ever since!! He is currently in a very large play pen type of construction in our living.....not imposing on our lives at all.....but is starting to get very frustrated now. Oh and we are up to two wheely walks a day!
But our fate will come down to whether the people who can book feel they can look after him......to be honest it would do him the world of good.....it would be like staying at a health farm for him!
